#sleeplessnights!

There is this girl rolling in bed,

Trying to sleep at 2 am on Wed.

She tries to pretend as if her eyes are tired,

But her eyes are wide open as if she has witnessed someone being fired!

She talks to herself, telling its time to sleep,

Her mind disagrees with her and starts thoughts really deep!

Screwing up her eyes, she asks her mind to just shut up,

But the silent night triggers her thoughts to wake up!

She tries hard to focus ans starts to meditate,

The night secretly whispers her mind to deviate!

"Just sleep!" She shouts at her mind trying her best,

Nothing works and all her trials turn out to be waste!

She questions herself, "what do I do?"

The only response that she gets is that she has no clue!

She ought to do something to overcome her fright,

She smiled at herself and grabbed a pen and paper to write!
